ONE WAY SYSTEM was created in 79 in Fleetwood near Blackpool (north of England) with GAVIN vocals, DAVE guitar, TOMMY drums and GAZ bass. From 80 to 84, they toured in the U.K., Germany and the U.S.A., recorded 6 singles and 2 albums and had songs on compilations like "A country fit for heroes", "Punk and disorderly 2 & 3", "UK/DK",....

They reformed in 95 with the original members to play in England, Holland, Belgium, Germany, France. Bassist GAZ was replaced soon by ANDY (bassist in 79 !). Mass prod released some live vinyls recorded in Rennes in 95/96, the best one is "Return in Breizh' 10'', out on CD on Blackpool label Visionary.

At the end of 96, GAVIN stopped the band, he was replaced by LEE. In 97, ONE WAY STYSTEM recorded the 4 songs E.P. "Search your soul", toured in Japan and U.S.A. In 98, ONE WAY SYSTEM recorded the album "Waiting for zero", out on american label GMM records.

LEE stopped the band in 2000. Between 2000 and 2005, the band had several singers (ASSERT singer, ROADRAGE singer and SICK56 singer) without any recordings. Since 2006, the venue of Jay at the vocals is a new beginning, his style is similar to Gavin's and the earliest fans won't be disappointed. A new album will be out soon.
