8°6 CREW is a ska band formed in 95 in the Paris area, the name comes from 8°6 beer ! From 95 to 98, they played some punk and ska, then only ska and reggae with the brass section. 8°6 became a 9 or 10 musicians band.

In october 2008, they record in 15 days the first album in Mad Butcher Records studios in Germany , called "Bad, Bad Reggae" and out in february 99 on CD and vinyl.
A lot of gigs in 99 but a very calm year in 2000.

8°6 Crew sign with Big 8 Records and record 4 songs in 2001, out on CD 6 tracks (including 2 dubs) called "Menil Express". The great title "Marseille" will appear later on the very well distributed various artists "It’s Frenchy Ska Reggae Party 3".
Big 8 Records then repressed the first album "Bad Bad Reggae".

After 15 concerts in 2002, time for holidays... for a long time…End of the short story of the band ?

Not really , because i n 2008 the crew come back on stage, festival in l'Usine in Genova, festivals in France "Aux Ponts du Rock" (Malestroit 2009), "Andel'Ir" (Andel 2010), etc...; write new songs and at the end of 2010 come out the album "OLD REGGAE FRIENDS" , twelve new songs and two dubs, a very well produced album. Last album "WORKING CLASS REGGAE" was out in 2017 on CD (Grover, Mass Prod and Do or Die) and Vinyl (Grover and UVPR)
