Review in MAXIMUMROCKNROLL #166 : ONE WAY SYSTEM formed in 1979 in Fleetwood, a coastal town in the NW of England. They were included on the compilation "A Country Fit For Heroes" in 1981. In 1982 the band achieved success with the single "Give Us A Future", followed by the LP "All Systems Go" in 1983. ONE WAY SYSTEM played shows with GBH, THE EXPLOITED and PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES. This recording is of a live show in France on 6-10-96. The sound is good and the band still is strong. It's nice to see some of the early punk bands get the respect they deserve. (BR)
