Brief history: The idea to release the comp came in 96, it took two years to prepare it seriously with nearly 30 bands. The CD version was ready end of 98 and we planned a festival with 26 of the 29 bands (LOBO'S TRIBE, VERDIKT and GUNNERS was finished) in Rennes on 26th and 27th of February 99. Around 600 persons came for each day in a venue normally full with 400 ! It was an incredibly good party ! The second volume is plan for the end of 2001.

  
Review in SLUG & LETTUCE: An awesome French compilation of varying styles of punk bands. Bands range from straight up punk to old school punk to hardcore and even crust styles. The odd thing about this is that the wide variety of bands actually work well together. All the songs are worthwhile and there's some really good shit on this. There are no real standout tracks, but the bands I seem to remember most are Murder One, Aside, Verdikt and Kaos Technik. This is worth your time and attention, remember there are many good bands out there that a lot of us never get to hear. Don't pass up your chance. (Jay)
