BREIZH DISORDER saga !
CHAPTER
1:
The
idea of the compilation came in 97 when meeting a lot of good
local punks and hardcore bands in Britanny along the Mass Murderers
concerts roads. It
took two years to prepare the first volume, we imagined to compile
15 bands but we finally compiled 30 !
The
first Breizh Disorder compialtion sub titled "Yech'ed
Mat !" (which means "Cheers!" in Briton language)
finally came out in January 99 on CD ( the cover art was made
by Pascal from the band Banane Metalik and Kaos Technik from
a collage by Vincent), and to cellebrate the release of the
record , we invited the bands on the 26th and 27th of Fabruary
to play 20 minutes each in Rennes, in the venue Antipode. It
was a very cold week-end but 600 persons came every nights,
some of them sleeping in their cars and squating everywhere
around.

CHAPTER
2:
In
2000, we organised the following because lots of Briton rockers
where asking us for the next festival and we received a lot
of good demos and met good bands.We decided that the bands out
on the first compilation can't have music on the second, only
new bands !
The
2nd volume of the serie sub-titled from a Melmor song "Dans
ar marmouzig!" ("The dance of the small monkey!"
in Briton language) was out on the 8th of December 2001 for
the festival in Rennes with an invited band from Sweden: Voice
Of A Generation. All next Breizh Disorder gigs had an invited
band coming from another part of the planet. This second volume
was out on vinyl a few months later, the cover art was made
by Vincent.

CHAPTER
3:
The
volume 3 was out in 2004, it is different from vol. 1 and 2
because of métal, ska, dub and rap songs ! The cover
art was made by Chino and Julie.
Regarding
the festival , several editions: 1 gig in Pont-Réan near
Rennes in February and two nights in the Wagon squat in Saint-Brieuc
in March.
At the end of 2004, 1 Breizh Disorder gig in Douarnenez.

4:
The
volume 4, sub-titled "Petra nevez e bro an drouized ?"
("What's new in druid's land ?" in Briton language),
was out in January 2005 with festivals gigs in Callac and Rennes.
We moved to several venues for Breizh Disorder gigs theme this
year : in Bacardi in Callac, in Le Manège in Lorient
and in the Gwernandour farm in Brasparts.
CHAPTER
5:
Volume
5 was out in april 2006 , cover art was made by Chaos , and
the festival was in Bacardi in april, in Jardin Moderne in Rennes
in May and finally in Derval in September.
