Jeudi 27 juin 2002 au Mondo Bizarro à Rennes : UNLOGISTIC (Päris) + FIST FUCK PRODUXION- show review by Yann Boislève: Geez, 5 shows in 7 days, I was starting to get sick... and it seems the local audience was tired too as only 20 or 30 people showed up. Too bad. FIST FUCK PRODUCTION is just two people playing home-made movies with silly stories and punk or rock music in the background. It’s pretty good ! Some of these short movies are really well done. UNLOGISTIC used to be a melodic Hc band, but these days they play fast old school Hc with a drum machine and two or three crazy singers jumping everywhere. Crazy. They probably lost 500 euros worth of equipment on this show alone. :)

Le 1er décembre 2002 à Rennes au Mondo Bizarro: HUMAN ALERT (Hollande) + SENSA YUMA (Angleterre) + BURN AT ALL (Fougères) - 150 personnes - show review by Yann Boislève - http://www.punk-hardcore.info : Lots of people, especially considering it was a saturday evening., and a good friendly atmosphere too. I guess it was one of BURN AT ALL’s first shows as they are a young local band, and for a first shot they were damn good. They play uptempo punk-rock with double-bass drum, kinda like if you mixed french punk-rock (LES RATS, etc) with GBH. SENSA YUMA , from the Uk, play midtempo punk-rock with a charismatic singer. They sounded typicaly british and were pretty good. I was a bit disappointed by HUMAN ALERT, whom I saw twice in the past when they had two vocalists. There’s only one of them left, and musically their brand of punk-Hc was too varied and messy for me.

Vendredi 27 juin 2003 - Rennes - Salle de la cité : NEVROTIC EXPLOSION (Rennes) + HAPPY KOLO (Paris) + CALL JAH CREW (Rennes) + INNER TERRESTRIALS (Londres) + FISHBONE (Los Angeles) - Show review by Yann Boislève: I missed most of the NEVROTIC EXPLOSION show as it started early. They sounded ok as usual, but I don’t think their kind of music fits in such a big place. HAPPY KOLO were ok, nothing more. Some songs are good, some are average, on the whole I reproach their songs with being too basic. CALL JAH CREW play a mix of reggae, rap, raggamuffin’, but I was disappointed. A couple songs were really good, but most were boring. A lot of people had come to see INNER TERRESTRIALS, and they sure didn’t disappoint. Nice and tight reggae-punk as always. I am sad they didn’t talk more between the songs, and I am also sure these guys could play better songs considering the good musicians that they are. Despite their commercial sound, FISHBONE were pretty good, and played some old classics I used to listen to 10 or 15 years ago ! These guys are awesome musicians and pretty fun to see live. All in all a great show with a cool atmosphere and a good turn up. (Y.B. - http://www.punk-hardcore.info )

Mercredi 8 octobre 2003 - Rennes - Mondo Bizarro : LES DIPSOMANES (Toulouse) + BLACKFIRE (USA) - 70 personnes.

Vendredi 5 décembre 2003 - Rennes - squat Villa Bproummpfv : MOLE FEVER (Paris) + DIVISION RUINES (Paris) + DRUG DEALERS (Breizh) + NEVROTIC EXPLOSION (Breizh) + THE DONTCARES (Suède) - 400 personnes. It was freezing cold and the gig was taking place in a squat in the outskirts of the town, during a huge music festival. To get to the venue, you had to walk for half a mile on wooden planks. It’s a disused industrial zone. Remember the movie Mad Max ? All buildings are in ruins- but the place where the shows are held is run by a bunch of artists, and it’s pretty neat. :) All local freaks had turned out ; squatters, punks, rockers, students, tramps, everything. The first band, I can’t remember their name, they were an instrumental rock’n’roll band from Paris. One song was ok, two songs were ok, afterwards it got boring. Next up were another band from paris, DIVISION RUINES, featuring ex-members of NOCIF (see review elsewhere) and basically playing the same songs - only with a much slower drum beat. Too bad ! As much as NOCIF were okay, the slowed down songs got boring pretty fast. THE DRUG DEALERS were pretty fun. It’s a side-project by members of BACCHUS TEMPLE ADDICTS. They’re disguised as drug lords from the 70’s and distribute false dope to the audience. Musically, they play strong rock’n’roll, and cover songs by THE DEAD KENNEDYS, BAD BRAINS and the DEAD BOYS. Nice. I was almost starting to regret coming here when the NEVROTIC EXPLOSION hit the stage. Every time I see them they’re getting better and better ! They played several songs from their upcoming album and they were awesome ! (tight melodic punk-Hc). I’m so glad we should be organizing a show for them soon. Last were THE DON’T CARES, whose Cd I reviewed recently. I was surprised, they really sounded like a Scandinavian Hc band. Fast Hc. Fast dis-beat. As I told a friend, "kick off the (rock’n’roll) singer and you get a real fast-core band". Quite ok. (Yann B - http://www.punk-hardcore.info )
